We celebrated Grandparent's Day at school Friday morning, and we had a big crowd!! We said a poem and sang a song for our grandparents. Then, we had refreshments while our grandparents watched a slideshow of pictures we'd brought in of us with them.
After that, we interviewed our grandparents. You should have seen the shocked faces when some grandparents said,"Buy milk?! We didn't buy milk! We milked the cow!" Or, "TV?! We didn't have TVs!!" These kiddos couldn't have made it 'back then.'
We made a quilt piece that represents something important to us and our grandparents. It's hanging in our hallway and I'll try to get a picture of it this week to post.
