Wish List

I so enjoyed my visit to with my kids last Thursday!! I miss each of them and it was so great to see them, even if it was only for a few minutes! Thanks for my cards - they are so sweet!

I asked Mrs. Swinney if they were running low on any supplies.

Here is our classroom wish list:
- wide ruled notebook paper (packs)

- Germ X

- Kleenex (for these winter colds and runny noses!)

If you're in WalMart and happen to think about it and wouldn't mind picking up any of this for the classroom, we'd really appreciate it! I told Mrs. Swinney what awesome parents we had in our classroom and I knew you'd be willing to help!

Welcome, Mrs. Swinney

Good morning, kiddos!
Happy New Year! I hope you had a great Christmas break!
I know you were probably surprised this morning to see a new teacher greet in our classroom. I wanted to let you know all about what's going on with me and Baby Avery Claire. My blood pressure has been high at my doctor's visits, so my doctor thinks it will be best for Avery Claire if I stay home from work and rest until she gets here.
I want each one of you to know that I will miss you so much!! Mrs. Swinney is very excited to be with you - I have really bragged on you and what a great group of students you are! You are great listeners and you always try so hard. I also told her that if you guys couldn't answer her questions, nobody could! I know that each of you will be on your very best behavior while she's with you. She knows all about what goes in our classroom, and I know you'll do your best to be helpful. I will talk with her often to see how things are going.
I'd love for you to keep in touch! Write me a letter or send me an email if you can! If you give a letter to Mrs. Swinney, I'll bet she can find a way to get it to me! We can be pen pals!!
I'll write on the blog occasionally and let her know when to let all of you see it. I'll definitely post pictures of Miss Avery Claire when she arrives!

Christmas Party

Here's our Christmas tree, with some of our handmade ornaments on it.

We kicked off our Christmas breakfast with a singing treat from two of our classmates. Thank you, Kyleigh and Lindsey!! You did a wonderful job!!

Of course, I forgot to take a group picture, and most of the kiddos had left by the time I thought about it. I managed a couple of pictures of those who were posing for their parents.

By the time Matevious was still, we'd lost Braiden.

Now, we've lost Matevious ...but isn't this a sweet picture?!
