Homecoming

School will dismiss Friday at 1:00 for Homecoming so that students can attend the Homecoming parade.

If your child will be leaving school via a different mode of transportation Friday, please send me a note Thursday or Friday to let me know how your child is getting home!

The Golden Tigers will play the J.O. Johnson Jaguars Friday night at 7:00.

Future Golden Tiger Cheerleaders

Maggie and Yaneli went to Mini Cheer Camp last week and performed at the game Friday night!

Go Golden Tigers! We can't wait to see you girls cheering on the field every Friday night!

Grandparent's Day Celebration

We celebrated Grandparent's Day at RES today. We had many grandparents and grand-friends join us to celebrate! We loved having them and hope they come back to visit anytime!!

Here's our tribute to our grandparents:

We recited a poem and sang a song that we've been practicing for our grandparents.

We interviewed our grandparents and learned about things from when they were younger.

We also worked with our grandparents to draw a picture of something we like to do together. We hung it in the hall on our Grandparent's Day Quilted Memories quilt.

Thanks for coming, grandparents and grand-friends! We enjoyed our time with you and welcome you back anytime!!

Multiplication - 2's

Don't forget to study those multiplication facts! Everyone is working on their 2's - except Priscila, who passed hers today!! Go, Priscila!

I really hope everyone can pass their 2's by this Friday and we can all work on our 3's next week! We want everyone's name in all circles on our multiplication board ASAP!!
